GeoElementary is a business set up by Chris Johnson in January 2016. Chris had a long career in Geochemistry with the British Geological Survey (BGS) before retiring in 2013. Much of his life has been spent overseas working on regional geochemical mapping projects including: Indonesia, Morocco, Madagascar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, China and Nigeria.

Interests

My interests in the field of geochemistry include: training in geochemical mapping, data conditioning and interpretation, the urban chemical environment, geochemistry and health (particularly I and Se), developing statistical methods for data analysis, geochemistry and agriculture, global geochemical baselines and using new computer technologies in applied geochemistry.
